Fundraising for Wen!

On June 8, 2026, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake — one of the most powerful to strike the Philippines in 50 years — hit the island of Mindanao. The quake damaged or destroyed tens of thousands of homes, overwhelmed hospitals, and left countless families sheltering in the open. Aftershocks have continued to rattle the region in the weeks since.

Wen, a valued member of our Navatman team, is based in the Philippines and has been directly affected by this disaster.

If you’ve ever taken class with us, you’ve benefited from Wen’s work behind the scenes. We’re asking our community to show up for them the way our community always does — with warmth and generosity.

Every dollar goes directly toward Wen and her family — housing, electricity, essentials, and rebuilding stability.

Help keep this work alive…

Your ticket gets you a seat.

Your donation helps ensure there’s a stage, a teacher, and a future for this art form.

We’ve seen what happens when one class, one performance, one teacher changes someone’s life.

When you attend a program for Navatman and Baila Society, you are stepping into a living tradition that is underfunded, underrepresented, and inaccessible to many for a variety of reasons.

At Navatman, and Baila Society, we train, pay, and platform artists with rigor; and do our best to make dance and music accessible to people who might otherwise never experience it.

Without support like yours, fewer artists get paid, fewer students get access, and these traditions risk fading into the background.

Be a part of what keeps this alive.
