Anatomy of a Concert - Kathak

We are ringing in the new fall semester with a concert series that kicked off Navatman many years back - when it was originally “The Anamika Navatman Project”. This concert, led by the teachers of Navatman, is a concert that is meant to elucidate the various ways a performance works for kathak or for bharatanatyam. You’ll learn about rasa, you, the rasikas, the deeper meaning behind the experience you’re meant to have and why pieces are positioned in particular ways throughout history. Come see your regular instructors and substitutes outside the classroom and get inspired right in time for a new semester.
